Ah, finally, a decent, yet very dark picture of my wolverine character, Calli and her little pet, Vex.
This was drawn a month ago. x_x Been meaning to CG it for quite some time. So, I sat down this morning.. and colored.. and colored..
Start: 12 p.m
Stop: 2 a.m
Completed in: 10 hours
Resulted in: Hand cramping, back/neck aches, burning eyes, hunger.
But, I overall adore this picture. I'm extremely proud of the outcome.
I'll probably put this on some cafepress stuff in my store. Like anyone would buy anything from there.
I really love the way I colored her hair, that look the longest on CGing her. I'm trying very hard to improve and I think from my last picture I did of her showed it. The background took almost 2 hours, I downloaded alot of brushes from random places.. and just splatted them on there. It made it look much more darker. I really like the pose, I was originally going to make her have fire around her.. but, eh. ._. Vex.. looks kind of ..bad.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was "smoooooth". The coloring is so soft and smooth, I could never manage to get that feel with one of my pics.

First off, I have to say, she has a very pretty face. Best looking wolverine I've ever seen. ^_~ Those yellow eyes of hers against that brown/gray fur and blue-tipped hair all goes together in the best way. And *rawr* that pose is so sexy, and gives her a lot of personality.
Not just the colors of the face look great. =3 The lighter grey and red of her outfit goes surprisingly well with

Wonderful work on her anatomy + posing as well. I love love her stomach. ^____^ *chews* The character as a whole looks fantastic.
Her pet is cute too, *nodnods*. And look, the two of them compliment each other's color schemes. ^^ Spiffy. He looks rather content with hovering beside his wolverine counterpart.
Ah, and I have to say something about the background. I want those brushes you used, or the site you used to dl them.
