Marvin G

A friend of mine sent me the 'Reasons to be Miserable' song, which features Marvin the Paranoid Android doing what he does best: complaining about existance.

If you're not familiar with Marvin, you should read The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy, or see the movie when it comes out in April. Marvin is the android who is constantly bitter and depressed about his lot in life. He has a massively advanced brain that can calculate equations in a split second, but he's only given orders to do menial tasks like cleaning and opening doors. While he does sound like a rather depressing fellow, he delivers some of the best lines in the whole series.

After hearinf 'Reasons to be Miserable', this picture popped into my mind, so I drew it up somethin' fierce. I also used the new model for Marvin, mainly because I'm more familiar with it, but also because it's a lot easier to draw. It's in this picture and in the New Lancaster picture, but it's very rare I draw chains, because they're so frekain difficult to draw. But you get two back to back. Lucky!
