Proposing Thought

He hasn't asked me yet, but I've already said yes. I say yes every time he brushes my hair out of my face. I say yes every time he looks at me with that little half smile he always has before he leans over and kisses me. I say yes every time he buys me something small just to let me know he was thinking of me the time that he made the purchase. I say yes every time he calls me on his way home from class to let me know that he's on his way. When he rubs my back in that slow gentle way that makes my eyelids droop sleepily. When he dresses up and takes me to nice places even though he'd rather stay in and wear jeans and a tee shirt. I say yes when he makes me feel like the only girl in the world. I wait until the day he reaches awkwardly into his pocket and pulls out a ring box. But I've already said yes.
