IV
Impulses are flashing through my head,
Now or never,
Shivers quaking down my spine,
Sitting between a clad black seat,
And an ice blue wheel,
Turning the ignition,
And putting it in drive,
Clutching the gear,
Fueled by thoughts of your lips,
Your bloodstained lips,
Sending me in to overdrive,
Mile after mile,
Hour after hour,
Longing for a touch,
Just one,
Just one minute of bliss,
And it’s all worth it,
Mourning tears stained with mascara,
From thoughts of your skin,
Are bleeding from my eyes,
Shifting back in to park,
Not moving an inch.
I was insane to think you can love me.
You’re just too far away…
