What the hell am I doing drawing stuff like this at 2:30 am on a school/work night? Egads, I must be possessed.
Anyway, this is a kind of parody of my current "Women of Japanese Horror" series of paintings. From the top: Yamamura Sadako (The Ring), Kawai Mitsuko (Dark Water)Yamazaki Asami ( Audition), and Saeki Kayako and Toshio-kitty ("Ju-on"). It seems to me that a lot of Japanese horror antagonists seem to have had really crappy childhoods or lives in general. They may be dead (Yes, Asami counts as dead), but that doesn't mean that modern psychology can't help them!

Next step: rehabilitation into society. Sadako trains to be on the police crisis team and Mitsuko becomes a lifeguard. I don't really know too much about the others... maybe Kayoko could be an ineffective volunteer at the Kids Help Line? XP
