Bith of Deenai (THIS IS A STORY)
Birth and Childhood of Deenai:
- Birth and Afterwards-
Mi-klar stared up at the night sky and sighed. “Such a lovely night.”, she thought aloud, and sighed again closing her eyes.
“ Ah, my dear, In the moonlight you are as beautiful as ever”, a voice whispered to her. It was her husband, Larenhane. The dragon approached her, and wrapped his arms around her from behind. Mi-klar, being a fox, was quite smaller than him. This, however, made no difference. A breeze blew past, neither of them spoke for minutes. Larenhane, after a while, noticed a small tear running down his beloved’s face.
“Now what could be causing my love to shed tears?”, he said, wiping the drops from her eyes.
“Happiness ,my dear”, She said with a soft grin.
“That’s a funny way to show it”
“I have good news, I went to the medical center today and found out that , well, I am carrying our child Larenhane”
A feeling of both shock and elation filled his senses, he hugged her tightly and kissed her neck.
For eight months Mi-klar experienced labor pains and morning sickness, until the final day. Mi-klar woke up with labor pains and had contractions, soon they were about seven minutes apart. “L-L-L-Larenhane, h-h-h-h-honey! I think its time we left” he breathed hard and fast. Larenhane scooped her up, and using his powerful wings, flew them to the hospital. They were able to get a room for Mi-klar to rest in until the birthing. The final hour grew near and the time had come for her to deliver.
During the process of her delivering Mi-klar pushed and shoved to get her child out, and with Larenhane behind her, supporting her she felt like she could accomplish anything. “Just one more big push Mrs. Wingdro!” the nurse said. And gave it she did. With a push and a loud scream Mi-klar released her child.
“What is it nurse?” Larenhane asked, yearning to know.
“It’s a girl, a healthy baby girl” she gave a slight chortle as the child wailed at the top of her lungs “she also has a healthy set of pipes”
The nurse handed the starry-eyed Larenhane his newborn and he looked at the pup lovingly who, with a size comparison, was quite small…compared to him… (DUH!…slaps self in face).
He handed Mi-klar the child and she embraced that little bundle of joy that they had brought into the world. She brushed back her daughters ruby red hair and felt her developing brown fur. She smiled as her daughters eyes opened, revealing sapphire blue eyes.
Now, what happened next is not well…recorded in the medical history of the child (for reasons unknown), the child gave a small yip and medium-sized dragon wings appeared from out of her back. Miraculously this left no mark at all. Another thing that is not quite as strange, but strange nonetheless. Mi-klar had orange-red fur and bluish-silver hair. Weird but not that weird since it is commonly known that if any type of animal mates with a dragon or something along that line then the child’s color patter is COMPLETELY RANDOM.
