Aaaaah realisim UoU she's a cruel cruel mistress...but this all spawned from an argument me and my lab instructor got into the last couple of days. He suggest I draw more realistically so i dont screw up my future
D <-such a nice guy. I dont think he assumed I would do well at all when I first started....and he said it's not completely realistic yet ...but I know i'm rusty and i'm tweeking it out.
So to make it fun I'll turn my anime charactesr into real ppl!! LOL ..It's really fun ^^/

D....heres the deal you guys are ganna point out what looks like anime mistakes. So I can try to fix them ok?
It'll help me out ^^ dont be stupid either..if your ganna help your ganna have to give me a really damn good explination as to why you think it's wrong and how you suggest I could fix such a problem. If I hear stupid assumptions I'll be forced to rip you in to tiny pieces and mail them to the North Pole so you can freeze the rest of your days. <-Santa isn't ganna like that.
So with that being said be prepared to see a mixtured of some freakin wierd stuff uploaded from here on out......diff. styles, realisim, anime <-(because i luv it 2 much) and whatever else i can conjure outta my head. You can leave now it which case fine or you can ride this out with me...and enjoy it along the way!! Like i'll be doing ^o^

Realism is very hard onece you get used to drawing in an illustrative/anime way. I think this is good. I would not call this style animation like at all. The hair in particular is very realistic. Keep up the good work, stretch you wings a bit so you can fly...LOL

Breaking the ties that stand in the way of anime and realism are quite strong. It takes tons and tons of practice, I'm slowly chugging along with that, and I actually enjoy "realism" better than anime.
Probably the best thing to make it more realistic, is to be careful with the shading. Shade lightly and don't force-feed it dark shading straight off the bat or it'll look just weird. O_o;;
This certainly is off to an awesome start.
