This is just a quick drawing of Phantom jumping down to the ground to attack his target. I wanted the feel to be as if he was quietly falling from his perch, so sliently that you woudldn't notice him until it was too late. Blue was used to give the image a cold night feeling too.
It was inspired by an
old, crappy drawing I had done of Phantom last year or so. Except this time, he doesn't have his sword...I kinda forgot he had one.

I always like the action poses better than the profiles or the casual posing, probably because they show more to the character, or perhaps 'cause they're harder to draw and usually look better than the stale ones.

The most impressive thing in this picture, besides Phantom's eyes (damn red eyes when he's in 'combat mode'... they're scary xD) is the perspective and the feeling of seeing him coming towards you. You really got it, Ruby! He looks GREAT!
