The Little GIrl in the Shadows

There once was a girl who was taught to behave
Her heart was swollen, beginning to concave
A girl who no one seemed to care about
She was taught to obey and never to pout
Angered by her fellow souls
People stopped to watch her unfold
She was one to suffer, suffered her fair share
Never enjoyed love, the love that was rare
Sad and depressed merely a girl
Shattered dreams, her world began to twirl
All of the hate that she had seen
That's why little girls should be brought up like queens

i wrote this last year, it was one of my first real poems

...this one is for alli, because she is my inspiration for drawing and writing
