It's Slade's buddy, Jeremy.
(As soon as I get more character sheets scanned, I'll CG some more.)
What Slade is to Tyrone, Jeremy is to Rex. That's right, Jeremy is Rex's archenemy. He's the son of the prestigious Haughton dynasty in O'Malleyton D.S. and the fourth-wealthiest kid in the city. Like Slade, Jeremy also attends the Barrington Academy. And like Slade, who isn't much different from Tyrone in several respects, Jeremy differs very little from Rex in several aspects. As a matter of fact, they're virtually alike, except for the rich factor. Jeremy may have an I.Q. of about 300, but it doesn't necessarily make him one of those geeks who are easily frowned upon. Jeremy's one of those handsome geeks. Yano, the geeks that pass ALL their tests and still have more women than you can imagine. Much like Slade and Rex, he has quite a large female fanbase at his school. Though he's really serious, at times he can occasionally crack a smile to laugh at a witty joke.
Jeremy doesn't have a Hypermon partner. However, he excels at the Hypermon TCG. Since he's the head between Slade and himself, he's always coming up with complex strategies for the game. When I do Project Hyperion, Jeremy will most likely have a Hypermon partner and a larger role in the story.
I came up with Jeremy about two years ago. Initially, he was going to be Slade's left hand bitch, but I decided to reverse the roles, seeing as how Jeremy is more intelligent than Slade and has a better handle on most situations. Also, Jeremy exists solely because I wanted to have a character whose name was "Miles". He would've originally been called "Miles", but I decided that "Miles" was more fitting as a middle name for him. At least he still has the name. Additionally, I got his last name from the late, great, and beautiful Aaliyah Dana Haughton (may God rest her poor soul). I guess I kinda wanted to subliminally keep her memory alive through a rich and popular character in my series.
