Because yellow rubber bands do nothing. They have become a commercial marketing scam. There is an arm band for EVERYTHING, and it all started with these.
If you want to donate to a charity like the Livestrong Foundation, that's great, but you don't have to have your arm covered with rubber bands.

i hate those so much. its now more of a trend than an acual true donation. before it was nice and somewhat rolemodelish... but when you see pink/red/yellow and grey on everyones hands its sickening. awsome for pointing that out
