because she's been so damn busy that I thought I'd do something for her. And, she wanted a pic of Kankuro and Gaara together, and this is what I came up with. This was a really quick piece, actually, because I used Photoshop 7 to ink in the vast areas of black. Otherwise, it probably would have taken 90 minutes more and an extremely dead pen.
At first I thought I was gonna do a real comical pic, but I made a really quick sketch of them laughing quietly together, and I took it from that. It's still funny, but it feels warm and amusing.
Fuck, we need more brotherly love from these two.

Ah, it's so nice to see them being brothers, instead of, you know, being all hostile-like to each other. And if anything could bring these two together, it would be laughing at somebody else's pain.
I love Gaara's position, it really suits him. He's always got his arms crossed, and he'd probably would be the sort the bend over when he laughs, instead of being all upfront about it like Kankurou.
And of course, you've drawn them as delicious looking as ever. ^^ *resists urge to molest them both*

It looks to me like they're laughing at someone, but I guess that's only because Kankuro is looking to the left and... .. Kankuro laughs at people. Gaara dosn't really laugh but HEY you did a such a good job of drawing Gaara laughing that it looks totally natural :3
