I told ya it wouldn't take long before I started drawing Fafnir again. Like i said in my journal, I needed a break from drawing him for a while. It gave me time to get away from my fangirlyness and see why I really like him. I love Fafnir because he's handsome, manly and beefy(yum). Not bishie "pretty boy" cute like I was drawing him before. Some of my old drawings make me want to go insane. That's not meh Faf!

I almost cracked up in my computer class while reading your description--I totally know what you mean by looking back! We were so IMMATURE it's enough to embarass us off the face of the Earth. I just wanna burn that old stuff up, but then again, it's good for a laugh to think back. Still, I've always loved Dede's artwork, super cutesy or rough and mature like this.

Like you, it's hard to see Fafnir all skinny and adorable. He's a big boy, and with a big fat attitude to top it off! I love how tough and handsome you drew him. The way you drew his face gives him that ethnic cherry-chocolateness that makes me feel SOOOOOO good... He may not be brainy, but I can really see a complacent, virile meathead who could care less in this picture. And as usual, the envy-inducing CGing really catches attention. I've noticed that you have a penchant for that--it must be your art classes paying off, but you really know how to advertise to your audience (I don't mean 'cater') and present your artwork. That's something I really need to work on, and will work on.
