PETA is the largest non-profit organization dedicated to the absolute seperation of humans and animals. According to their mission statement, they do not want animals to be used for food, medical testing (cosmetic or otherwise), service (including police dogs and dogs for the blind), or entertainment (circuses, zoos, household pets). They don't want animals to be the slaves of humans.

It's no surprise that PETA is the largest of these extremist groups. They go out to petstores and stand in front of them passing out flyers of dead hampsters. They put commercials on with graphic pictures of our meat industry and compare them with that of the camps during World War 2. Saying that what we're doing now is morally the same as what the Nazis did to the Jews. I mean, we're worse than the Nazis not only do we kill them, but we eat their flesh too! So people see these messages and are shocked into believing that PETA is fighting a good cause. So people like you and I donate money to support them.

Where does your hard earned money go? Non-profit organizations aren't allow to keep records from the public, and some of that money has gone to a convicted arsonist. Alright, some might give him a little room to breathe because it was a Medical Test facility. Would you give him the same room if you knew that he didn't even bother to try to rescue the animals in the building he just set fire to? Money is also spent for walk-in-fridges. What does an Animal Rights group need with that?

PETA rescued 3,000 pets last year, and only adopted out 700. The remainder? Put to sleep. Well I mean you would have to. There is no way to be able to keep that many animals for a long period of time. The Humane Society adopted out 63,000 pets in the Los Angeles County in 2003. Several hundred versus something in the tens of thousands in one county alone?

PETA. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Yea the hell right.

I'm going to be a bit of a whore with this one. If I get ten favorites on this, I'll post the shirtless one up as well. Reason being, if more people see this and learn that PETA is a terrible terrible organization, the more likely that they will not donate to PETA and spare that extra cash to a smaller organization or shelter that could actually use the money to feed and support the animals there.

Thank you for reading this.

Heh, Thats the exact reason I feral insautled when people say im the future leader of PETA. I may be an animal rights activist, but Im for human rights to... 'Rescueing' animals is sometimes putting them itno an even worse situation. Its so sad...

KensukeTheCat Says:

PETA is a terrible organization!
Down with PETA!
They're doing more harm than good the way they're handling things right now.
They're too extremist, though I understand where they're coming from.
Yay, I'm comment #2!

khito Says:

With you 100%. They're not a charity, they're a cult. Cruel, blind, stupid and greedy and hypocritical.
You got my fave on this- I agree, people aught to know.
Did you, by any chance, see that episode of "Penn and Teller's Bullshit!"? The PETA one? If not, it's very informative. Partisan, yes-and the guy who narrates swears quite a bit- but informative.
I was horrified by the things they do more than the things they tell other people they (those spoken to) are doing. Awful people and if anyone meets the head of the organisation and recognises her, kill her for me, okay? She's a menace.

JoeWolf Says:

hehehe,so cute,and sexy^^

BenHo Says:

I'm faving it for two reasons.

1) i think it's really cute and has an interesting design

2) I wan't to help you with your cause.

Magatoyko Says:

DOWN WITH PETA!

brownkuma Says:

Sounds like PETA is a evil group that wants to separate human and animals. extremist, what else I could say? Of course, they seems to be right that animals should not be abused, but how could they simply deny the emotional relationships between human and animals, which has already been developed long ago, even in the beginning of human history? Like, Why do they think they have the right to do so? They can't read animals mind, just by judging/guessing subjectively and gives a stupid mission statement, can this be considered a kind of abuse too?
Anyway, the pup is sexay ;3 I'd really love to help him remove... something ;3
