Things on SA that have GOT TO STOP

1. Arguments over who has more page views: Listen, this is supposed to be a community where we can share art, NOT a popularity contest. Half the people who have me watched have a fair amount more page hits than I do, but you never see me complain about that. If you want to be angry over page hits, duel it out with said artists on messengers. But please, DON'T drag it out into the open here via submissions and forum posts.

2. Pointless forum topics: Ok, so maybe I'm not being specific with this. But if I see another topic that's about how HALO 2 SUXXORS or THIS BOARD IS FILLED WITH POINTLESS GAMES AND POLLS, I'm gonna lose it.

3. Dueling flash artists (case in point: the infamous Wonchop and Mr. Simon "rivalry"): This is another thing that really shouldn't be dragged out into the open here. Nobody cares if you hate so and so because he did so-so art pieces just to get pageviews, it's obvious that you're either jealous or are just griping at them for the sake of griping. And if you're so worried about not having as many pageviews, maybe you should try to figure out why you're lacking instead of attacking your rival.

4. UNBAN WONCHOP/SQEEZY/WHOEVER submissions: I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this, but I'm sick of it. If they were banned, they obviously had good reason to be banned. Before you throw that old "But they've been banned from DA! Where will they post their work now?" line at me, ponder this. Anyone who can take the time to put together some of the flash movies and games shown on this site can definitely put together a website.

5. Random for the sake of random: Unless this is done well (i.e., Forehead Shavecut, Arfenhouse, the work of Neil Ceciriga, etc), it's really not all that funny. Chances are, if you're not laughing at it when you're writing this stuff, people probably aren't going to be laughing at it either.

6. Foamy hate: "He gripes about things. Iwillpress is a facist who pushes his opinions on others for the sake of making money. Foamy is not funny." We've all heard a million times before, so STOP GRIPING ABOUT IT. I don't like Foamy either, but maybe you should do something that might actually do some damage to Iwillpress: Don't visit his site or watch his cartoons.

That's about it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be hiding in a bomb shelter. >.>;
