A brooding little pic of myself I made playing in Photoshop. I wrote it, but you have to imagine the voice of Max Paine reading it.
I liked how it went, so I tweaked it to my approval and now it's here. I like it now, though I'm uncertain about the halo-effect, it might be too strong, it might be keep the subject well-presented. Heck, I don't know, that's why I ask you all what you think! >_^
Oh and I don't encourage or advise smoking, it's a pretty rare thing for me because I like to actually be able to catch or kick someone's ass without gasping after 10 seconds.

Tone is the most striking quality of this particular photo manip, and me being the tone freak I am, is appreciating the effect of these saturates and exaggerated tones. Darkened shadows delve deeper than they should, and light pierces more intensely.
Smoking is hazardous to your health.. if you cannot run, how do you plan on escaping that chain saw wielding mad man out yonder window?
I've only briefly played Max Payne, and thus cannot remember his voice. Sadly. Is this a quote from the game? The part I remember most is one time I watched my father exploring Payne's past as he recalls his time in the house, his family was slaughterer or semething. The baby cries are disturbing, even now.

I like the colors, but you know you always choose good ones. Very cool picture/pose of you. I mean ahem....now Keith you know smoking is bad. Guns on the other hand is ok, but smoking. no What did hte tag on that car read? "the only reason some people are still living is because it's against the law to kill them". LOL I can't get over that, and the fact that it's true! Anyway, this reminded me of that.
Oh btw, you must have had a great photographer for this shot. Who did it for you? Very nice angle. Whoever took it completly captured you whole "eat shit and die" demeanor. Although the pose WAS your idea. ^_< eh..i love you
