The background is adorable and the combination of colours, shadows and lightning is very gorgeous and itneresting. I would so love to be at this place, at the excately same spot as her, to experience this moment when the light shines thourgh the woods. It's such a beautiful sight. Also it's drawn in an awesome style, and the character with her sharp edges stands out a little for the backgrounds, but yet the backgorund gets what it deserves from the viewers attention. A really adorable piece.

wow great job it's a very beautiful pic!

Andres the Tiger Says:

I like the look on her face. I love the background. The trees look real nice, and the mashrooms around her too.

surreal....nice

beckyg Says:

Heh, that's a first - doing the background first. The background is the part I like doing least in my own work. I always put the background in as afterthoughts.

Very nice piece, though.

lovely work. The way you painted the trees made it seem like they were moving and the shine on the character's pants looks really well done I honestly don't see any anatomy floaws O_O

lub Says:

wow i really love this

cyberinferno Says:

Very beautifully done. I really like the pose and design of the character as well as the soft background. Nice work.

Booky Says:

I'll crit the BG then, for you, rather than the char.
It looks a bit hurried, like you just wanted to get the basics in. Very vague, and blurry in spots. . .try spending more time on little things, like the leaves, and layering all sorts of different spectrums and tones to get a more realistic approach. All the browns and brownish-greens you used overwhelms this picture - if you'd put in some yellow-greens and a whole spectrum of green touches in general, it could help.

this is a very beautiful picture. I really enjoy how relaxing it looks. The atmosphere just makes you want to be there. The little butterflies are nice, and how they have that little glow on the outside that I notice. I love the girl's hair color is. It reminds me of grapfruit!this is a really nice picture! good job.
