Giotto - Blind Turtle

Here's a work in progress sketch of my TMNT fan-character, named Giotto (after another famous artist like the other TMNT). He specializes in defense and martial arts that turn the enemy's strength against them. I don't know much about martial arts techniques, but I was thinking of making him a specialist in Wing Chun or Tai Chi Chuan (note: I looked these up on a website to see what these styles emphasized xD ). Other ones I saw that might fit were Nihon-Tai Jutsu and Daito-ryu Aiki Jutsu. All of them stress defense over offense, from what I can tell. His physical strength is a little more than the average TMNT, but he is a little slower at moving -- his reflexes don't suffer at all, however. Most of his strength came from training with his personal favorite weapons: a pair of heavy steel tonfas. He is also blind, but his hearing and sense of smell are incredibly acute. His color (you know, like Mikey is orange and Donny is purple) is white. I was also thinking of making him a different turtle species than the others, but I don't know what other kinds would work.
I did use some of the official art as resource, mostly to get an idea of what the TMNT look like, as well as the foreshortening on the arm. Also, I haven't finished it because I can't think of what to do with his legs (that and I SUCK at drawing legs).
