Behind These Blue Eyes

No...this isn't Mana from Malice Mizer. Her name is Isis and if you seen my gallery or sketch book before, you know her quite well. Isis' character desgin is heavily based off of Mana and the Gothic Lolita look in Japan. You all know the speech..."This isn't your average teenager", but I would be lying if I said that. Isis is your average 14-year-old girl...but she has a darker aura around her. Although she may appear cute and innocent at sometimes...one cannot under estimate Isis' true nature...pleasant or not.

Besides my little rant...Isis is my favorite figure to draw! I've been drawing her for nearly six years...she's taken on many forms...but she always remained a gothic beatuy. Despite the influex of so-called "GAWFIC" images floating around here...I hope Isis makes a point.

This was ment to be very simple...and Isis does look stiff. The contrast focuses on her cruxifx around her neck and her pale features...but hey...no one is this pale. This is very geisha-inspired. The simplicity of this drawing may even be the biggest flaw...One of my biggest regrets is Isis isn't really much of the angry-type...she's a little more aloof and reserved. But the mystery surrounding her and plus Isis isn't really what she seems.
