Ashton Theron Jones

Thank you babynames.com, I would NOT have come up with "Theron" as a middle name for this guy at three in the morning (Theron means "Hunter").

Anyway, I made Ashton back in 7th grade, about the time I started drawing anime style with Tyrone and the others. He has a twin sister named Ashley (now ain't that cute? Ashton and Ashley...), but she more commonly goes by her own middle name, Tiffany. Ashton and his sister are a shady couple of teens, primarily because 1) They have unusual ways of manipulating people to their will, and 2) they're the last remaining descendants of the Saedi race (remember Demmo? With the big ears?). As a matter of fact, Ashton and Ashley fall right into the LeShaun lineage, as you can tell, because Ashton is here carrying Demmo's El Dura staff. Again, I shall be explaining later.

Anyway, enough time travel. Let's get back to Ashton. Ashton's a pretty mean guy (towards members of the same sex anyway). He just does NOT like other guys, but to be very specific, he loathes Tyrone and Rex. Maybe Bullzock moreso because of his asshole-ish tendencies. Though younger than Tiffany, he's very protective of her. He's casted some pretty mean fire and ice magic on anyone who's looked in his sister's general direction. He's one tough chap to please. He has a mean way of bending females to his will (not through blackmail, mind you) through some sort of ocular hypnosis. Though basically a grungy asshole, girls still find him largely attractive even without the hypnosis he places upon the girls. Though he's obviously as straight as a needle (maybe straighter), he often walks away from the crowds of girls that maraud him on a daily basis.

Ashton has no Hypermon partner. When I wrote the original Hypermon story, Ashton wasn't in it. Perhaps when I write the new story, Ashton will get a significant role and maybe even a monster partner.

When I drew first Ashton five years ago, part of his reason for existing was trying out new hairstyles. His original hairstyle was similar to this, but according to a friend of mine back then, "It made him look gay." After that, I stopped using a bunch of characters (Ashton included) and began working on Hypermon. But recently, I played Balloon Duel at Newgrounds and I had the sudden urge to bring him back. Ashton's here to stay.
