I love the way it looks like everything is filled up with tiny details, and you can almost see the colour. I think the head is cool, and the way it almost looks like feathers around it.
As for critiquing... I'd say maybe just the proportion and pose. If he were really sitting like that, he (or she?) would probably fall backwards.
