I was reading her later books that follow after the Catyclism and just got this urge to draw how I see the makaar. And so here it is. Probably not as ugly as it could, or should, have been... *shrugs*

ooh, I like that. That looks quite nice. And it looks like how a Makaar should look, I think. I feel rather sorry for him though, with such small ears.

Oooh I own the Mage Wars series~!! I've only read the first two but yep I remember the trouble the Makar caused Skan when he went on his first mission at the beginning of the book.

lol I read just enough of the first book to know what you're talking about. I felt that the she was trying to make it seem that they were much uglier, but I kept getting a similar image in my head. Kickass pic, I especially love the beak/mouth region. Something about the pointy tongue make me go fwee!
