99 layers and about 20 hours total on this image. -.- i am very dissapointed with the bg but it would've been better if i could work with more layers. D: photoshop only supports 99, goddamnit. that shouldn't be my excuse but it is. -.-

i guess i like this. but riku alone looks better than the entire pic pieced together. well, accounting that i spent the most time on him, i guess it's only logical.

+ the term 'consistant light source' does not exist in my world. that's why the shading is all over the place.
