In my opinion, a sketch is just as good as a finished product. I think you're good to go. I don't really know how you would fix it (I know, not helpful for what you're looking for). But I don't know your style or your limits, so I don't know how I can tell you to improve it ((cuz right now I don't think you can, that's awesome!!!)

I'd like to see it finished with the idea that it's so skinny you can see it's organs. I happen to like the eyebrows, they're unique to your drawings 
and thus ends my two cents

Please do finish. I think the only thing that really bugs me is it looks like he's going to fall off the tree...like he just dozed off and is ever so slowly falling off the tree...
