We've all done it before.
Whether you're supposed to be taking notes in class or doing your math homework on paper - you, being that fARTy person that you are, doodle all over the page.
And while doodling - you make one of your best illustrations yet.
Well dont fret!

Here are some steps using photoshop to get rid of those annoying blue lines! (and perhaps those magenta margin ones as well!)

note: This only works with illustrations done in black ink on blue lined paper. It will not work if you used blue ink. Or if you colored the image. It will however get rid of any color on the pages - if you sketched in blue pencil and inked in black the blue will dissappeaasdfdfssdafadsr vanish. god. i dont know how to spell dissaeprlaksefasmdhfakjfalkdjear.

._.

You can do either of 2 things

the way i prefer is
- Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation
- dropdown menu: change from master to Blue and Cyan if working with blue lines, Magenta and Red if you have that pink margin line
- slide the Lightness up all the way to 100%

and then the lines will dissappealkrjalsfkjadls vanish. god i hate that word.

the other way to get rid of lines
- Window > Show Channels
- then click on Blue

or just type Ctrl + 3 which does the same thing.

I prefer the first way because it can get rid of a variety of colors.

After doing this - you may end up with a greyedished lineart - so fiddle with Image > Adjust > Levels or Brightness/Contrast or Curves depending on which you prefer.

1- originaly bluelined stuff
2- used the mentioned method
3- adjusted levels in order to get rid of funky ghost shadows that my scanner likes to pick up. 0_o

Hope this helps you out! my first tutorial!
