MOO'S REVENGE

Genki

I feel like it's been forever. Battling, fighting, bleeding, bruising, it won't stop. I have to keep fighting as long as I can, as long as it's necessary. Every morning, I wonder Is this the last day? Will this be the day we win? Or maybe this will be the day we die.
Well, the thoughts come every morning as I strap on my roller blades and glide along my friends. My friends...No one I'll ever know will have friends like mine; a giant eyeball on a stalk, a big rock man, a freakin' piece of mochi, a big rabbit, an oddly colored wolf, a girl with a rock that leads us to other rocks (So to speak), and somewhere roaming on their own, a big blue rock man and a girl with wings and horns. My friends...meet Suezo, Golem, Mochi, Hare, Tiger of the wind, Holly, Big Blue, and Pixie. Together, we're fighting the forces of one of the most evil and powerful beings that ever roamed Langaea. But interestingly enough...this isn't our story.

"Captain Durahan!" Ocean Golem cried as he ran into his master's quarters, "They survived!"
Durahan slowly turned to face his general, "Who did?" Durahan already knew the answer but he just wanted to confirm his suspisions. He never assumed things anymore. After betraying Moo and leaving him for dead, he could never be careful enough that Moo had not returned.
"The boy and his friends!" Ocean Golem panted, having run at top speed from the surveillance room, "That idiot, Ice Beetle, failed! I told him to check for corpses but he was so goddamn cocky! He downright refused!"
"His hubris has sealed his fate," Durahan said as he walked past Ocean Golem, "Apparently, being tossed off a cliff and having an avalanche dropped on them is still not enough to end them. Moo was a fool to underestimate them and Ice Beetle even more so."
"So...you're not surprised by the news of their survival?" Ocean Golem asked, scratching his head.
"Not in the least," the armor said, "I was at first, but when you told me that Ice Beetle didn't attempt to confirm their deaths, I was no longer." Durahan continued to walk as he drew his sword, "But now there will be one death that he can confirm. It will be very hard for him not to in the few microseconds between my steel penetrating his flesh and the severing of his esophagus."
Durahan was abruptly stopped on his march of the executioner for Captain Red Eye had just slammed into him, hopping at full speed. Red Eye hopped to his stalk and bowed so his eye almost touched the ground, "My sincere apologies, my lord! But something has come up! It's an emergency!"
Durahan nodded, "Lead the way. Tell me what has happened."
"I can't, sir!" Captain Red Eye said. There was a terror unspoken in his voice, "This is something you must see! The entire crew is in a panic! Two have already ended their own lives!"
Durahan stopped in his tracks. Terror suddenly filled every micron in his body. He would have been sweating had he any sweat glands. He would have been vomitting had he a stomach. But he most certainly had a soul and right now, he was terrified for it. He caught up with Captain Red Eye just as they reached the observation deck. His fears were confirmed as he fell to his knees. Miles in diameter before them lay something Durahan hoped he would never have to behold again. Flames were spread across the mountain, delicately placed in the shape of Moo's insignia.
Durahan looked to the side to see an Evil Hare hanging from a noose. A Clay had shaped his arm into a blade and jammed it through his neck. Clearly, they would sooner face the fires of Hell than face the wrath of Moo. Durahan suddenly realized that his own shaking hand was nearing his sword hilt. He yanked his hand away and regained his thoughts.
He growled, whipped out his sword, and slammed it onto the ground. Everyone stopped their panicking and looked at him, "ENOUGH OF THIS!!!!!!!" he snarled, "We are an army! We are a full force of the most powerful Monsters on Langaea! He is one Monster! One plain stupid Monster who I defeated on my own!" He raised his sword into the air, "Together, we are unstoppable! Together, we are strong! Together, we will make Langaea ours and end the miserable existences of Genki, his friends, and that foolish, weak, pathetic abomination! Those who wish to die may leave...if you can make it past me."
There was a long silence as tension filled the air. Very slowly, a Prankster floated inch by inch towards Durahan, hoping to all things divine that he would make it past Durahan. Apparently, nothing divine was listening. Prankster saw the sword coming and instinctively tried to block with his scythe. He should have made a better effort to control his instincts but it was far too late. The sword sliced right through the scythe and cleaved the Prankster in twain.
There was another long pause. Finally, Captain Evil Hare jumped to his feet and saluted, "I will stand with you all the way, my lord!"
Ocean Golem stood up at his spot next to Durahan, "My stones are at your command, Lord Durahan!"
The remainder of the troops were soon on their feet, cheering for their commander. A couple of Hengers even came up and started kicking the trecherous Joker breed.
"I want those flames doused!" Durahan bellowed, "I want scouts all over the planet! I want no stone unturned! At first sign of Moo, alert me! I will kill him myself! Battalions are to be placed in Genki's path! I want that nuisance dealt with so we can devote all our resources to ending Moo and ruling this miserable planet! Now someone clean up this mess!"

Moo

I'll admit it. I'm lucky. If I had been even the very slightest bit slower...I'd be dead. I remember it clear as crystal. I was standing at my usual place, pondering the usual topics while staring out the glass wall. Lilim was there, talking to me. I didn't really hear her, I wasn't paying attention. But...she seemed sad. She may have said why but, as I said, I wasn't really paying attention. But, fortunately, I did notice when she looked behind me and screamed. Fast as I could, I materialized a sword and parried Durahan's attack. Durahan. I knew he would betray me some day. Yet...I was surprised. I had always assumed that Lilim would help.
I was completely unprepared. Durahan attacked me with ferocity I had never seen in him before. In moments, I was covered in my own blood. My right arm had been rendered useless and my sword was broken in two. I did the only thing I could. I threw myself directly out the glass wall, hoping against hope that the fall wouldn't kill me. I saw Durahan standing there, laughing. Then he suddenly stopped and looked behind him. In a moment, Lilim appeared and flew after me at top speed. Then Captain Weed jumped out and tried to reach me. Then the recently resurrected Gally, Joker, and Naga.
As they fell, I realized in horror that I was responsible for the demise of the only ones who were loyal to me. I knew that Gally, Joker, and Naga couldn't survive the fall as they couldn't fly. Captain Weed and Lilim would be hunted down and flat out ended. Lilim might not even be killed. For all I know, Durahan plans to do things much worse than I could ever do...special treatment just for her. I don't think I need to go into detail. I did what any sensible leader would do. I positioned my body to slow down my speed of descent. Gally, Joker, and Naga fell faster than Lilim for some reason. The instant they reached me, I grabbed onto them. They were confused but they trusted me. Lilim came next and I grabbed onto her. Finally, Captain Weed reached me after two minutes of falling. That's right, two minutes. We were nearing the ground fast. I finally grabbed onto him and held all of them tightly. It was a tight fit but I managed to hold onto all of them as I finally hit the ground. Remember how it felt when you slammed into the ground on your back while holding onto five people after falling for five minutes? OH, THAT'S RIGHT, BECAUSE IT'S NEVER HAPPENED TO YOU!!!!! IT HURT!!!!!!
I don't know how long I was out. When I woke up, I was in a cave. Some of my armor was sitting in the corner. Naga and Gally were at a forge, fixing my sword and even enchanting it to be unbreakable. Something I didn't know he could do. Lilim was changing bandages on my arm. She looked up at me and smiled. I nodded and continued to look around the cave. Or...at least I would have. Captain Weed came running(?) straight into me. I have no doubt that he would have been first out the glass wall if Lilim wasn't right there.
"Master!" he cried as he ran to me and wrapped his vines around my leg, "Master, you're alive! Oh, thank the powers that be! You've been out for four days!"
"Understandable," I said. I placed a hand on my throat and grunted. It hurt to speak. But at the moment, the power of speech was the only one I had, "Are you...the only ones?"
"Yes, Master," Captain Weed said, "The others are like mindless drones. They follow only whoever takes over through force. They had no love for you and they have no love for Durahan."
"Something me and the troops have in common," Lilim said sadly, "I once loved him. But his blind ambition for power drove me away. He scared me. He probably went insane. I couldn't devote my allegience or my love to him. That's why I followed you."
I waited a short moment before speaking, "You're all fools." Though I struggled to do so, I stood up, "None of you should have followed me. You have doomed yourselves! Durahan will hunt us all down! You should have let me die alone."
A large seed suddenly hit the side of my face. I turned to see that Captain Weed shot a seed in loo of slapping me.
"How dare you, Master!" he yelled, "We would never leave your side!"
"We would sooner die than follow a traitor like Durahan!" Naga yelled.
"Our life is to serve you, Moo!" Gally said in his eerily calm yet serious voice.
I sighed and made a huge decision, "It is...no longer." I waved my hand and my emblem fell from their bodies.
There was a very long pause. Slowly, Lilim bent down and picked up the emblem. She looked at it for a few moments...and reattached it to her chest, slightly above her breasts. Blood dripped lightly from where she pierced the flesh replacing it. I looked in absolute shock. I turned to Captain Weed and he had also reattached it to his band. I whirled around (Rather painfully) to see Gally had resummoned it and fixed it to its floating position just under his golden, unmoving face. Joker had just finished placing it on his cloak. Naga took off his necklace and had jammed it directly onto his chest. There was a small spurt of blood as he placed it on.
"This has never been about mind-control, My Lord," Lilim said, "We love you. We regained our free will long ago. Captain Weed before any others."
"My dedication was never affected by this piece of enchanted metal," Captain Weed said, "and it hasn't been about love of the power you brought. You have cared for those who respected you; for those who loved you."
"Perhapssss it was your dessssire to find your true body that made ussss so dedicated," Naga hissed, "No...perhapsssss not. But it helped. We know the true you. A desssire to rule the world issss not particularly evil."
"We will never leave you, Master," Gally chimed in, "No matter how hard you try to get rid of us."
"We will forever be your humble servants," Joker said while bowing, "to the very end."
Taking a cue from Joker, the others bowed. Lilim bowed low in a...well...a "gentlemenly" fashion. Captain Weed spread his stalks and bent down in his version of a bow. Joker was on one knee, holding his scythe to the ground. Naga bowed as best a serpent with a humanoid body could. Gally simply bent over as best a bow as he could manage. It was perhaps...the most...touching moment of my life. I had never known I could feel the emotions I felt now. Had I a face, I would have been grinning.
"If that's how it is, that's how it will be!" I said, my voice booming and proud, "With you five by my side, I will take back what is rightfully mine and then we shall rule this planet!...But...we may need a little help."
There was yet another long silence. My...well...my friends...were confused, I could tell. And then all five looked at me in shock.
"Master, you must be joking!" Lilim cried, "That's...why, that's ludicrous!"
"I...I can't imagine where you got that idea!" Captain Weed sputtered, "It's...it's unfathomable!"
"You can't..." For once, Gally had lost his calm tone. He was absolutely stunned, "You mean you would...with them!?!"
Once again, I would have been smiling, "Yes. With them."

Who is Moo referring to? What exactly is his plan? What kind of retard would you have to be to not know? All these questions (Except the last one) answered next time on Monster Rancher: Moo's Revenge. The okay fic about the badass monster with the really shite cliche name.

Moo has been overthrown, his armies were taken from him, his allies are numbered, and he has little to no hope of survival or success.
Moo: ...Sounds fun.
Hell hath no fury like Moo scorned.
