Just a psychedelic little gift art piece for Ebonytigress because she's so wonderfully sweet and generous and I deeply admire her for the awesome person she is as well as for her incredible talent...And this is undoubtedly the oddest gift art I've ever drawn for anyone (and my first attempt at completely freehand abstract knotwork), but I saw the image in a dream and I can't be held responsible for the peculiarity of my dreams.

I just wish I could've known how to create it digitally and vectorize it so that it wouldn't have been so messy (and the "black" areas were pitch black on paper, but the scanner ate them)

Anyways, the white patches are supposed to be there, for they are part of Ebby's reverse tiger markings; the orange tendrils are stylized stripes, and the light blue bands symbolize the collar she always wears. :)

That is so interesting. I love the intricacy and simplistic coloring. What really catches my attention is the detail you paid to the markings! Even looking at this and without reading the description, I can see the markings and how well they translate from Ebony's tiger markings. ^.^ Hehe, I think you just opened up my mind to abstract peices a little more.

reminds me of some kind of decoration on an old copy of silmarillion (you, the lord of the rings prequalish thingy) from the 70's i once found on a fleemarket. i like it. beautiful colors and the shape +design are really esthetic (did i spell that right?) good work...
