I'm not exactly a huge Captain America fan. I think I've got some, like, six issues in my comic boxes. (And having some good 30+ boxes, that's not alot at all.) But I like his costume. It's a goofy costume - it's one of those "You either get it or you don't" costumes. It's one of those that's just one HUGE challenged whenever you draw it. So, yeah, I enjoy it.
Wanted to try drawing different characters. Cap's a little more geared up than usual, but I've always thought of him as being the "ready for anything" super-soldier. Not just can he kick butt, but he can kick butt anywhere, anytime. So to be prepared for anything like that, he's gotta' have the tools, not just the talent. So hence he has pockets. And pouches. And lots and lots of belts.

Love the action pose. So far I've seen two of your comic pieces, this and Iron Man. I find it sad Marvel's artists aren't as good as some of the fan artists on SA. You fit in that category, already. Something about this image just screams "Cover art."
