This is for a contest about how SatAM Mobius would have been in the 17th Century at FUS Message Boards.
I was gonna submited as it was, pencil only because I haven't sleeped to well the past two days but as I started fixing it a bit in Photoshop I kept adding stuff to it until I decided I'd make it greyscale.
This was inspired by many things. I first started with the King. His clothes inspired by a search I did of 17th century clothing. Don't look anithing like it but, meh.
Then Robotnik on top. That sounded wrong...
, accursed imagination...ahem... Man I had trouble with him, I drew him in many diferent poses until finally I kept this one. Inspired by DCA's drawing.
His story is similar too. Naugus casted a spell on him that got him infected with a parasite that kills the flesh so he started rotting away from his left arm. His knowledge stoped it from spreading farther into the body but his arms flesh started falling appart. He covered the damage with metal. The inside of the hand is still bone and muscle and the metal outside will protect the exposed tissue. His face looks nasty but the flesh can still recuperate when he finds a cure. His arm will have to stay that way forever. I only made half the hand metal so you could see how it looked like.
Then I thought of how to add Naugus. I saw all three movies of Lord of the Rings this past weekend and thought of the With King. So that's how I came up with Nauus and his little pet -male- dragon. I don't think SatAM actually has male dragons but maybe they did at that age.
The dragon itself was also inspired by Phanzer Dragon a bit. Had the game in my mind as I drew it.
Then I wanted to have sonic around somewhere and put him down there and then threw Sally behind him looking worried/concerned. I tried to make her look a bit diferent by curling her hair.
And know here it is, my eyes are burning and hurting because I need to sleep.
