Three down, two to go

(The other two are on my Deviantart gallery, by the way)
I did something different with this one, if you can tell. Earlier this evening, I was contemplating the colored ink I got for xmas, then I thought.. "I'm going to try inking with a brush." So I did. I tried it out on an old sketch and was rather thrilled with the results. I found I could use a brush better than a pen, especially for those long, continuous lines. Does this means I'm tossing my pens aside? Nope. If anything, I may combine the two in inking, since between the india ink and micron ink, there's no difference. What I found that it was tricky to do small details and lines.. maybe after some practice, I'll be able to brush ink them better.
Anyway, back to the picture. After inking the test pic, I later decided to try it on a real picture. Since I had no current large stuff to ink, I chose one of Kat's pictures that she sent me

. Risky, but in the end, I liked the results. I took a micron to it, to sharpen some lines and add the piercings and other details, but the rest is brush. I was a little scared to add some fur texture, like on the arm and stuff, though.
But OMG, I inked with a brush.

I've never been one to like using brushes unless it was for painting miniatures, and knowing that most comic book inkers use brushes made me go o_O "I don't think I could ever do that.". Hehe, I still prefer my 'dry' media for arting, though I do have a set of watercolors I'm still wanting to use, sometime.
Also, brush inking tips are most appreciated, so please share some if you have any
