I was just your average WereGarurumon. Yeah, the Digimon that wears a belt strapped from his left shoulder pad to his right waist belt. The one who wears a blue leather arm bracer on the left, complete with a brass knuckle and some small wristlets to the other hand. The one who also have torn pants with some markings… Yep, that’s I. Oh, and I also have dog tags. However, that stuff was a thing of a past… I was just an average WereGarurumon until this time…

We’re all cool around here in Digimon World. All of us are unique. My Agumon friend knows how to make spicy foods, and runs a restaurant. You shouldn’t make fun of his cooking, unless of course, you wanted to be burned to a crisp… but why am I talking about him? What’s this story for, anyway? Well, before, we’re all unique… no one’s so special to be considered as a lord or something… no one… until that tournament appeared…

Then the DigiFlex Bodybuilding Competition came, a strange new tournament that suddenly bedazzled many. You’ll be surprised for this new program to sprout out of nowhere (we call this things programs in our world). Of course, the rules of the tournament were simple, and this is for half-human-type of Digimon, with two arms and legs. According to the rules, the participant must only wear the body-builder briefs during performance, and that he must prepare himself for the week. He can wear accessories for increase in appeal, but not the harmful ones like grenades or something… It is open for all levels of Digimon, too… To tell you the truth, I have no interest in this… but why am I telling you this?

He arrived. He lined along with the others. After waiting, he was finally signed. I wonder... I felt something… an urge to defeat that lion. He noticed me, and he walked towards me. He introduced himself. He’s Leomon. He told me that he’s expecting a worthy contender in the tournament, and he felt that I was that person. Now, I know that I don’t feel like joining, since I don’t want to be a bodybuilder, but as a wolf in nature, I don’t want to pass off any worthy and honorable challenges. I agreed, and we both shook our hands before I line up.

Back at my den, everything felt a new scent. Before, the whole cave beneath the blizzard was just your usual stuff, books, television, magazines, appliances, but it changed. My training area now has bodybuilding equipment, like dumbbells and barbells. I breathed heavily, as I felt like it was an obligation to be in that tournament. I sat on a bench, and started doing my workout. I know that it would take a lot of time, before I could become the champion…

Days have passed. I have changed, not the WereGarurumon that you used to know. Today, I wear no more outfit than this green briefs. Yeah, I still have the dog tags. I got myself new piercings as well. I now have five earrings to my left ear and two to the right; both of my dark brown nipples are pierced. I also added some scars to my left pectoral… my left muscular pectoral. I looked at the mirror and did some poses. Yeah, I can be king of the competition… That was weird, for I never thought about it, as if I became addicted on this being muscular… strange…

My close friend Lilymon asked me on how I changed. Actually, I digivolved into something unique, I told her. When I was doing my most vigorous workout, and my body was still slim, something happened. My muscles started to burst out and, well, everything changed… I digivolved. No clothes fit me than this… I was ready… for the fight…

When I entered the tournament, I saw many other Digimon wearing briefs and with bulging bodies. I saw an ExVeemon with a blue briefs and with not only on X scar, but more to his body. I saw a WarGreymon without his armor! I even saw a Zudomon who changed his hammer for a barbell. The one that took me the most was Leomon. I know he was muscular before, but now, he’s like a model! Peircings to his ears, nose, nipples, and his right eyebrow, not to mention his battle scars on his chest and his silver wristlets and anklets, his brown briefs, he was standing out… I gulped… seeing how this tournament would fare…

However, little do we know what this show-off competition is all about…
