Physical Humor

There's this quantum physicist in North Dakota who gets laid off from his job. He needs a new job, but can't find one in physics, so he goes to work on a farm.

The farmer asks him, "What can you do?"
"Well," the physicist replies, "I can do physics."
"What do you need to do it?"
"Just some paper and pencils and time alone to think."
"Well, all right. You can use the barn attic."

So the physicist works and works and works.
The farmer finally asks him, "Well, now what?"
"Now I give a presentation."
"What do you need?"
"Just a chalkboard and some chalk and some people to present to."

So the next day the farmer, his family, and a few animals (since there aren't many people in North Dakota) all gathered around the physicist's chalkboard. He cleared his throat and began...

"Consider, if you will, a spherical cow of a uniform density...."



Normal dinnertime conversation in my family just wouldn't be complete without a quantum physics joke or two.
