I hate doing backgrounds. I view it as my weakness. Yours is very good!
I think the girl would have benefited from more folds and wrinkles drawn into her top - she seems to be twisting to the side, so there should be quite a few wrinkles around her middle.
Also, I think you drew her mouth and nose too high up - if you lowered them a tad her face would have looked better.
