Gone, but not Forgotten: An epic prologue.

“No, dad!” The bird pulled loose and smashed her fist on the table, scaring the bird and shocking the two mothers. Her anger, combined with the element of violence, made the three cower away to a wall. “I had enough of your constant shielding and sissy behaviour.” The bird slowly, but carefully, walked up to her with his arms in front, trying to reason.
“Flora, please, it’s not their fault.” She grabbed door knob and exited the room, before making her way through the halls to her own room. “Flora!” He was scared and rushed after her through the halls, yet too late to enter her room, thus found himself in front of a locked door. “Flora! Please! Memo is doing fine, so why are you so persistent on this?” When his question turned stale, he found there was no response at all. “Flora? Come on, don’t do this.” A few tears appeared on his face, as well as a cold shiver down his spine. “Don’t be like this Flora!” The otter and wolf of the other room arrived, worried and staring at him as they approached him.
“Is she alright?” He shook his head gently.

“Rah!” The cold sword slashed through the moist vines, paving a path to a random clearing, which was inviting and glowing in the damp moonlight. Her bag was filled with all kinds of items, like knives, clothes, ropes, matches, runes, books and all kinds of random stuff. She pulled a few thick, leather gloves from it and placed them over her scaled, bird hands. “Hunting gloves, coil of rope, armour and a few more details to make me the person I have to be.” Carefully, she applied the items, before adding a red headband to finish it off. Her sheathed sword and strong shield made her look like a strong hero, and her admiration of the final result and great. “This is it. The doors of the wide world will open for me and my skill. I shall conquer the highest mountains, destroy the fiercest enemies and vanquish the grandest demons.” The backpack on her back, she swiftly slashed her way through the vine maze. It was exhausting and mind crushing to slash through endless vines, considering she barely left home, it was even more painstaking. “Damn pussy father, double mother and gay twin brother. Nothing but negative factors when trying to make my way to legends. I don’t get what HE did in his past, because legends come alone. There is no way to be born a legend.” Panting and wet, she reached the end, opposite of a cosy tavern. Before going anyway, she applied some goggles and nodded like a real man. “Oh yeah.” She said jokingly.

Inside, there was little crowd. Even the owner was sleeping on his bed on the other side of the counter, making loud snores and snorts. She walked up and tossed a gold coin onto the counter. “Ey, old man! I want a room.” He slapped the air and fell from his bed, feeling his heart throb strong in his chest, bloating his lungs. The wolf coughed and licked the innards of his mouth and looked at the coin.
“A room’s five S.” The bird snarled and pushed the gold piece forward with her armoured hand. “You want change?”
“Give me the room now and you can keep it.” He gave her a key and pointed at a room down the hall with a certain degree of tiredness, anxiety and irritation. His eyes half-closed and a few front teeth showing, she understood he was making double profit getting her gone now.

Her room was already occupied by another person, but she didn’t matter, for another bed was empty and available for her to use to her wishes. She had not covered a lot of distance, and she was going to make a lot more tomorrow to make up for it. The mouse appeared nice, thus she didn’t plan on bothering her or anything. With her back done, she removed the thick armour, stripping down to attire that seamlessly covered her gender. It was most fascinating to see the complexity of the equipment and the simple factor they had; to make her appear stronger. With a few crackles of the neck, she fluffed the pillow and lied down. A loud yawn was her swan song, before the world of sleep engulfed her body into a state of rest and meditation.

The title is an obvious pun on the previous series; Forgotten.
Flora is quite fascinated by action. An unhealthy obsession and a quirk. When the fists show, she'll punch before you even consider.
Note: She'll be travelling in a group, unlike my normal stories, which focus heavily on someone.

I made this listening to some tunes of the Drawn to life The Next Chapter soundtrack. I LOVE sequels that turn previous tunes into epic and action packed tunes. SMAWESOME!
