"Heading off to your room rather late, wouldn't you say so, Kate...?" Marno slid around the corner, gliding to my side with his dominating stance and coy smile.

"I fell asleep in the garden..." I rubbed my eyes as I trudged forward, knowing my way officially around Kayla's fortress, though a couple people feel the need to always watch over me.

"Haha, sounds just like you, my little kitten." Marno twirled a bit of my hair as his voice was trying to 'whoo' me to taking a better interest in him. "How long have you been staying with us now? What day did Cedd mysteriously disappear?" Marno seemed to enjoy making me flustered, even through the worst possible ways. The worst part is that he's good at it.

"It's been a while..." I said, voice cracking as I practically choked on the words, trying to not cry from the fact that it's been a month now. But before Marno could get a word in edge-wise or a bad remark squeezed in, I quickly closed the door to my room after entering it, keeping Marno on the other side.

But that shouldn't have stopped him, since Marno can walk through anything he wants to. "I hate to see you like this." Marno said through the door. "You know he died from all of what happened." Marno knew that Cedd really did die back then, but also knew Cedd's big secret. But Marno's footsteps sounded farther and farther away as I sank down to the floor and started crying, hugging my knees and head in my arms.

"You're crying." A familiar voice said a I looked up, 20 minutes into my sobbing. I thought my teary eyes were decieving me, because I saw a blue figure kneeling on one knee. He reached up and wiped my fallen tears, face sullen. "I'm sor--"

"Thank God you're okay...!" I cried now for joy and relief as I jumped him by wrapping my arms tightly around his neck, his imbalance brought us straight to the floor, as I was now hovering over him. "Thank God..."

He reached up and caressed my cheeks. "I'm sorry about the traumatizing things I put you through, Kate..." His voice was like nectar to a starving hummingbird.

"I can't lose you again...! I love you too much..." I finally said my feelings for him; I wasn't taking any more bashful chances. "I can't handle losing you again..."

"You won't lose me again, Kate." He chuckled, pulling me down ontop of him, as he embraced me. Minutes that felt like hours passed by as I was falling asleep on him after calming myself down, remembering all of the little details about him. That's when he sat up, taking me with him as he pushed me up against the door where I was crying. Both of his arms were up on the wall, surrounding my exits.

I had a look of confusion upon, as I was wondering what he was doing. He locked his line of sight with mine, as I got lost in his. He put his head on my neck, as my blood boiled up to my head. I got even more confused because he wasn't doing anything except for breathing slowly.

But he suddenly grabbed me, and lifted me off the ground, as I squeaked from the sudden surprise of it. He had me in his arms, as he kicked the door to the bathroom open, as he piled on top of me in the shower very suddenly, keeping me extremely close to him as he reached over with his other hand, turning the shower on.

"C-Cedd...?" I squeaked, getting goosebumps from the cold water hitting both of us, as he just hung tight onto me. "I'm confused..."

"You don't smell good..." He huffed, as I felt a bit insulted, and was about to whack him upside the head for being ridiculous. "You smell like other men... I don't like it." He said sternly, still holding me tightly as I went completely red.

Not knowing what to say or how to respond, I was just quite, as the only thing heard was the water of the shower hitting the floor after hitting us as minutes passed.

"Cedd...?" I said quietly.

"Mmmmnnnh?" He just softly moaned, not opening his mouth at all.

"I'm really cold..."
