Oop, another Pierce pic. D8 lol
BUT I HAVE AN EXCUSE.
This is for my year book half-page for school. We get to draw in them.
In the pic I submitted it was just black and white... shaded with pencils.
I wanted to put more into this than just gradients, so I did this instead. 8D
I REALLY WANT TO SEE WHAT OTHER KIDS DO. ;A; But I have to wait until the year is over with. D;

I love the lighting here, the bright outlines really make the picture.
The light photoshopping is very effective here, it's nice to see your pencil work, I love me some traditional media.
Did you draw the moon and then photoshop over it, or was the moon a second thought?
With the lighting I like it a lot but I think you should have shown that the middle of his torso and wings were much darker, however, because no light is hitting it. With such large wings blocking light it could be almost black where the stomach is.
Also, the inside of the ear, around the clavicles, look at what is shaded over.
Something about his hair looks off as well, the hairline is really high up and looks almost flat at the top. One thing I notice continually is how much his hair sticks out I think it would help to really look at hair and draw some more realistic hair so it looks softer and more...hairlike.
I like the overall look of the picture the wing scooping over makes for a great way to draw your eye to his face.
I notice he has scars on his arm?
Oh also, he's in his TDS, you still need to make a sheet for.
I really love this because I get a distinct feeling from this like I can tell what Pierce is thinking. I love being able to feel emotion through a piece.

I have one little suggestion for his hair, though, especailly his fringe: if you'd make the strands curve a little more they'd look less flat.
