This is another song by "Gabriel" (myself and Albert Vinasco). It was written especially for Halloween, and my daughter has created an animation for it.

Click here to see the animation.

There is a house in our neighbourhood
That is haunted so the story goes
And anyone who would dare to see
Will be the victim of a tragedy

I'm not scared, I will take up the challenge
You will see, there will be no tragedy

And so I went to the house to find
The door was open, so I crept inside
And climbing up the stairs I heard a sound
I lost my footing and fell to the ground

I don't know, if it was all just a dream
When I woke, I was cold and yet strangely serene

And when I opened my eyes I saw
Two smiling children walking through the door
And they were laughing as they looked at me
Although they stared they didn't seem to see

Something strange and eerie was happening to me
Could they be the spirits that I'd come to see?

I couldn't move, I was paralyzed
It felt so strange I knew I had to try
Then with a sudden surge of energy
I seemed to fly up with the greatest ease

Then it came, the sound of those young children screaming
What had made them flee in such panic and fear?

And now I'm trapped within these walls alone
With nothing left for me to do but roam
I might as well be dead, this is no life
And now I've made the final sacrifice

So my plea to anyone who may be listening
Is set me free from the ties that are keeping me here

Bozo Says:

oh all the words in the English language I can only find 1 word to describe this. BRILLIANT! Go girl go! I always wait and wait for your songs, and so far It has been worthwhile. A great hello to your friend as well, great guitar work ( he said in envy).

Apparitionmoon Says:

That was awesome. I paid more attention to the lyrics themselves then the animation when i was watching it.

Keep up the great work, and great job.

tekkentool Says:

i've never seen something so proffesional on sheezyart before.

2ndself Says:

Damn. Eerie and perfect. i actually shuddered towards the end. Your daughter's work is impressive also. Rebel Lemming.

Min27 Says:

It was good and mastered well, but I just didn't seem to like it as much as Voices of the Night.

BlueEyes Says:

This was really great, one of the best Halloween-themed songs I've heard! I really like the lyrics and the choir, especially the chorus sent chills down my spine and more chills when the guitar(?) solo started playing. That creepy laughter almost scared me (positively).
Writing this short, eerie story to a song is really brilliant! Well done!

I'll watch the animation as soon as it has finished loading.

Fitos Says:

The music and your voice do give me the chills. The only thing I must point out is that the words just... kill the song for me. Though, I must admit liking "strangely serene".

I do appreciate the fact that this is a halloween song, so it can't have words that are too deep, as it would just not fit the theme, but.. oh, well, I guess I am overtly fanatic when it comes to "clichés". (Albeit, as I have been looking at my own poems, I cannot say that I am happy with more than 2% of them)

But, as I said, your voice is fabulous and the music is bloody well made too. I wonder, though, would this be even better with a male singing in second bass?

Elfofchaos Says:

Wow, can't believe I missed this haha. Love it all from the vocals, lyrics and backing music.
