Within the realms of chaos the beings known as the Maquette live. These beings are drawn to energy like a moth to a flame. Some of the more dangerous Maquette take advantage of this so that they may prey off of the others for their precious energies.
Maquette anglers are a rather insidious breed. They emit energy to draw the others nearer. The dumber Maquette will go in ahead without any regard to the dangers only to become absorbed. The spiral on this one's belly glows to indicate how much energy they've absorbed instead of it's eyes, like the majority of their kind. When left alone the Angler is contented to sitting around, waiting for prey to come around. They're energy efficient, able to reabsorb their own emitted energy and are among the best predatory breeds of chaos beings.
Their energy lures take many shapes and forms. This one's showing a classic variety.
