Internet Social Structure - Bullshit in progress
Below is something I wrote in a protracted conversation with

on skype one day. It basically relates to my studying of internet social relations and their specific similarities with real life social make ups and societies, the human need to impose Order that is compulsive in everyone and the fact that the Human persona and attitudes have relative effects on a person's social standing in any one site, these standings change from site to site, and the cultural make ups of the users.
This is an unrefined list of the most common social make up of most sites, SA included, and the classes thereof. This is an unrefined list, I have MUCH more work and typing out to do before this is fully completed and accounts for the most common effects on an internet society, namely tits, and how often a user draws/shows/posts/uses them to achieve their popularity and how fragile this popularity and influence is as an example of a factor determine one's social standing.
I named the classes to empathise how you are all, whether you like it or not, are put in a box, this box may change, and you may be the one to change it, but it is a box and you are in it.
Also if you don't like being put in a box, that means you're at the bottom of the pile. Eat shit.
Monarchs = Admins, those who can come from any social class to become master of a site.
Lords = Mods, like Monarchs can come from any social class and who's position is granted by will of the Admins, wether by the two traditional methods of meritocracy or by being a confidant, (friend), of the Monarch. Unconvential methods, (such as TASP's), of electing Lords is untried as of yet.
Elites = Social dominators of any website, while the method by which one actually becomes an Elite is dependent on such variables such as the cultur eof the site and the demographics of the majority of its users, they generally follow the rule of the thumb of being both very able and capable indivudals with a high degree of influence in their thoughts. Tom Preston potentially could've been this but he failed. (Hard) An example of such an Elite on SA was Rtil. Elites do not neccesarily like or agree with eachother and feuds between elites can cause schisms in a site of supporters. Example, Lock Legion.
Sub-Elites = Basically Elites-in-training, these are individuals who the majority of people on a site have at least heard of, if not know of, that are ascending from the Middle Classes to become fully fledged Elites. You yourself are nearly here if you were more active. (I was referring to

prior to her becoming a mod at this point)
Middle Classes = There is actually a variety of Classes here that can simply be labeled middle classes as I have yet to map it out fully. Essentially there is upper, lower, and critic classes. Upper and Lower classes refer specifically to those who contribute to sites, while the Critic Class generalises those individuals who criticise other individuals of a site or even the policies of the Admins and the Attitudes of the elites. This class can be both filled with, ironically, individuals with an 'Elitest' mentality brought on by their judgement of others, wether deserved or undeserved, depends on circumstances. Newgrounds is FULL of such class members. (merely read the reveiws on most flash works). Upper and Lower classes again refer to contributers to a site, whose influence is nigh negliable in the lower class regardless of ability, Upper class refers to those who have a bit more time under their belt and more ability if not neccesarily influence, Zueral and Unknown-Person and yourself are in this class. I'm stuck somehwere between upper and lower classes as while my influence is neglible and my ability not good enough to increase my social standing, I can not achieve upper middle class as of yet despite my length of time on both these sites.
Lower Classes = Depnding on the site itself, the relative standing of these classes fluctuate \/
Trolls - For obvious reasons these usually form the underclass and rightfully so, however, a Troll may rise in influence and ability into the upper classes, becoming a flame warrior and not just a troll.
FNGs - Noobs and Newbs - The difference between a Noob and a Newb is not, as the name implies time, but apparent intelligence and/or ability. A newb is a new person on a site who's either wramly received or simply unbothered by the veterans fo the site. While the Noob is either shunned, generally disliked or food for the trolls. Again both these sub classes of the New-Class group can stay longer on a site, but generalyl a Newb can go on to be anything whie a Noob will be lucky to make it to being Lower-Middle Class.
Criminals/Scum of the earth - The most maligned members of a site, these users can be from any social class but are utterly hated and who's influence is less then neglible. Here be the men who even slaves look down upon.
This will be refined at a later date but till then, fuck you.
