Yeah, he's Walt Disney's creation for Universal before he moved on and made Mickey Mouse. I think he looks better than the mouse, honestly.
I only found out about this creation when I read the article about the upcoming Epic Mickey game in a Gameinformer, and apparently he has a leading role.
This is one of my more favorite drawings mainly because I didn't rely on Photoshop for shading and the like. That's right; I did the whole thing in Flash, and I'm very happy on how this turned out.

looks very good, and the shading effect done in flash is a nice touch. The only thing I would say is that his right foot looks strange because it's facing the camera. Old 1920's characters were very flat and diagramatical in how they were drawn. if it looked like his left foot, I think it would look even more like the old creations. Other than that, it's pretty awesome. I love the face. There's some nice little touches which make it stand out. Epic Mickey is gonna be epic!

I honestly love the cross between old and new here. He's got the base 1920's style and body, yet elements of the newer age. And damned if that doesn't add some great appeal. Bravo

For something made in flash this is pretty good.

This is a really well done pic for oswald. I have the oswald collection on dvd, and you got him down to a tee. it kicks ass! yay oswald finally got some love!

Great work with the shading. Flash does work a lot better for that type of thing.
