"my greatest enemy...and my greatest ally...
My own chains I shall break..."
I let you interpret the picture as you will.
Well, some serious art after some time. >.> I'm not very good with hands, so this idea was quite a practice. The chains were a pain to draw as well. But it was fun, and calming, I could say. Been doing a lot of thinking, and I guess this kinda represents a part of me. :S
Fully done in photoshop, with references used (Can't remember the link for them though, but creds to the stock owners.)

Chains are rather hard to draw, but their symbolic effect is too awesome to resist.
You did a nice job with this piece :)

holy god. this is an amazing piece, I am just surprised that almost none of the other lemmings that blindly uprate and fav everything had anythign to comment with, WHICH IS WHY I wish sheezy had some sort of "comment before rating/faving" system.
That said: you did a fantastic job on your choice of colors, blending, shading, blah blah blah....
This would make for a killer bookmark.

I think you did a lovely, fine job with the hands. :3 Don't worry so much. And the chains fit nicely as well.
Good job.
Amazingly symbolic and exactly what I need at the moment.
