Yeah right.
When people draw mythical beasts, they usually never remember the manticore, dragons and others take all the attention.
That is why I wanted to draw a manticore.
I think I did kinda well with the shading of the fur-collar.

His/its mouth is supposed to be that wide, in case you were wondering.

His mane is nicely textured and shaded.
His front paws kinda bother me though. It seems to go right from the arm to the paws. I can't really see a spot where a wrist joint will occur. Even though they're straight out on flat ground I should be able to tell where it would bend if he were standing on his paws. I think the main problem is you need to tapper down to the wrist slightly then make those monster paws. It wouldn't be as noticeable and drastic as a human but it would at least show some definition on muscle and skeletal structure.
