Chilly pond begins to freeze
Icy frost in the breeze
Blue lips shivering
White fingers quivering

Dark water runs below
Time to jump, get set… go?
Drop your head in bow
I think I hear the chorus now

La dee dee da dee da
You never knew, you never knew
Who played the fool? It was you
They went sniping strings
On your playground swings
La dee dee da dee da

Raven watches with coal eyes
Who planned your demise?
The water rushes under you
So now what will you do?

Jump, jump, the water’s there
Aren’t you sinking in despair?
Think of the crap they feed you
Do they really love and need you?

Heart pounding like a bass
Blood draining from your face
Make a choice somehow
Scream out the chorus now

Well it's been a while since I uploaded anything. I wrote this today and thought I'd upload it to prove I'm still here I do get on everyday just so you know. For those that were aware my online class is over and college work has taken its place. Joy. I've been feeling more artsy lately so hopefully some of it will get put on here =)

Just so it's clear this poem is about someone thinking of commiting suicide. Dedicated to the friend of a friend who lost 3 friends on the same day to suicide about a week ago.
