...Wow It really feels good to draw again!
Anyways, I wanted to draw Brer Rabbit and Brer fox after reading various folk stories from the Southern United States this semester. We were studying trickster-like characters and Brer Rabbit is a prime example of a trickster character (I don't know why, but characters that manage to beat the rules and stick it to the man appeal to me
). I based my version of Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox on the Disney version (though I have to admit, I have not seen the animated film lol). You might recognize Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox from the "Splash Mountain" rides in Disneyland and Disney World.
