I promised a friend I'd paint something for her quite some time ago, but I never had the chance to until recently. The concept of this piece is her idea, so it looks quite different than my other works, but I was determined to paint it as close to her vision as possible, and I think I succeeded in that regard. The hardest part about this image was the hair - I generally dislike painting hair and view it as a challenge itself, but overall, I'm quite satisfied with how that aspect turned out.

The eyes and lips are very sharp and really draw your eye to them.
The eyes are especially alluring. The detailing in the iris is beautiful, especially the colors, which look stunning paired with the reds.
I like the detail work you did with the pores as well. I'd love to see his skin sharpened up just a tad, specifically at his jaw line.
Adding a few bright highlighted strands to the hair would help the hair look less like one big mass. I think it would look really nice and help it look sharper like the eyes and lips.
I think darkening the eyebrows a bit would help showcase the eyes too.
Also, the ears look a bit high set,but I'm not sure.
Over all, I love this piece, especially the orangey-red color scheme, with the hues of purple, it really sets off the green. :3

Those eyes remind me of a snake's. They certainly draw one in.
