The only interesting thing I can say about this page is that the backgrounds in all panels took me about an hour and a half to do. I only know this because that's about how long the podcast episode I was listening to was.

What could Rhea have up her sleeve?

ok but still wow i personally think more storyline less backgrounds
I wouldn't mind pixelated backgrounds.

The art in panel 5 was well done!
Backgrounds look kind of jello like, but it's better than what I can do.

i want to comment on the character of Rhea first, i love how her design reminds me of a kangaroo but also how she moves so uniquely, while she seems to walk on the tips of her toes she sometimes runs on all fours when in a hurry, this gives a great impression of both her own preferences but also to common universal logic, *basicly i think her tail would be an amazing balance for either posture.*

her form of dress reflects her personality and her overall place in life, and the interesting thing that really got my attention was that she eats meat, im honestly not sure why this sparked my interest. it just did.

i love her vocabulary, her motivations and desires really jump out at you, but shes so realistic! no matter how strange her situation is *dieing, being raised by a random demon, being revived and finding an angel and is then attempting to save a relationship...she always seems to have her own life running in their somehow *and in real life people do the same thing* thats what i love about her character.

on anther subject buwaro (aka buwaro elexion) is such a unique spazzy, and while not spunky like Rhea, has such an energy about him that makes me love trying to think of what hes gonna do next. while i wonder where his rock went, it seems hes always trying very hard to be who he is, he defends it as well. *the complexities of his character are so deep that even though i know hes not real, he fascinates me to no end*

i love his facial expressions and he can so easily go from super cute, to epically cool in a matter of a single panel. take panel six for example. can you see the child in him? the confused friend? the person that even though they try their hardest to do the right thing, has no idea what RIGHT is? theirs levels in the story that make him more then just a drawing, its a wonder of artistry that ive rarely if ever seen in any other comic. *that is to say with writing as well as drawing*

as far as artistry goes just to focus on that a moment, i feel the background of this comic was quite good *by that i mean this specific page* i may critique some others but i wanted to just do this one to start.

the grass is while depending on the lighting on my computer, it goes from very bright and almost shiney, to a bit darker and very ...lush? the effect of the grass itself leads me to imagine sitting on a very large and very inviting carpet, the kind of grass you dont see in towns, the kind you dont really see anywhere nowadays but exists somewhere.

the flowers and mountains are simplistic *possibly to prevent from distracting from the main focuses of the panels, and the i find the use of gradient backgrounds in place of the normal backdrop *ie the wilderness* in some of the panels is used ingeniously. i cant quite grasp the exact effect of it on an unaware reader but i feel it helps guide the reader to where each character is inside, as opposed to spatial location and reference to that. almost a traveling of the mind, dark looming colors *or something pressing down like in panels 2 and 4* reflect oppressive indecisiveness or contemplation. while the explosion outward in panel 3 depicts a choice or elation of motivation *as opposed to no action due to fear or doubt*

these are just my opinions and do not reflect anything the artist may have been trying to accomplish with this comic, i am merely stating what i myself got from it in the hopes that you would enjoy seeing it from my perspective.

thank you for your time and have a wonderful day.

With hope for the future

i will probably be making more critiques like this in the future, i just signed up for this website today and felt i should contribute somehow.
