Well, after a discussion with one of my collegues a few months ago, I found what was bothering my so much about the track beyond the usual mix stuff. I had conflicting composition. Especially between the orchestral bass strings and the electric guitar. Plus learning how to set up guitar in a track makes this updated version of the track a little more rock sounding than the predecessors.
I won't go into details this time around. But some reworking on how the guitar/bass guitar and the string bass meshed was done.
This particular version I stripped out some of the effects I use in the ramp-up section of the opening so you can hear that part clearly. When I put new effects in, they'll be designed for the song.
