When I am bored and do not feel like drawing something big... I have a single file for these faces I draw. I will start doing the same thing with full figures soon xD
Each of these took anywhere from 3 minutes to 1 hour, it might surprise you which ones are which.
All characters are original except for two fanarts (Faize from Star Ocean 4 and Hell Girl from Hell Girl/jigoku shoujo)
Some of the original characters are random, some have background stories.
I figured I'd share them since I made so many, lol.
EDIT: I just realized not a single one is smiling D: except the crazy dude... but he is always smiling

Heh, I do this with pages in my sketchbook. I always designate at least a page or two where I doodle things when I want to draw, but don't want to do anything big.
These are pretty neat for what you say are just sketches. I wouldn't be able to do anything like these in just three minutes.
