Detective Soledad Flynn!

Yup! Soledad is now a detective!

Before the change, she was just a simple oracle. But now, with the change, I started thinking about her job some more. Because before I started changing things, she was, let's face it, a load. She didn't do much, besides tell prophecies. And well, I thought that wasn't enough. I wanted her to really seem necessary, not just a plot device and that's it. Even if she's all goofy and happy, she just didn't really give much to the story.

So, I re-thought her. I gave her a job as a detective, where she could put her skills as an oracle to more practical use. With her abilities to see the future, she'd be able to tell where the police could find a criminal, or even the way a court case could turn out, if they're lucky. But above putting her powers to a practical use, I made her more analytical. She's able to put two and two together, and really well. She's no genius, but she's good at her job.

Of course, the blindness still comes in as a problem, so she has to have the data relayed to her before she can start analyzing.

But don't worry. She's still a tad silly, and will always show this when she's off duty, and hanging out with Mia. They're still best friends, you know!

Also she actually has a last name, unlike most of my characters. I'll have to change that.
