Great work! You did a fantastic job on the colouring. Nice use of ambient lighting and such. Plus, I like the way you did the hat. Looks almost real. He doesn't seem to really have a lazy eye. But the more I stare at it, the more that left eye, our right, seems to be kinda squirrelly.

Lovely shading and colouring in general. The painty look is pretty and the colour scheme is nice and soft.
And Phoenix is awesome.
But, I have to say this: he doesn't look Phoenix enough. I think it's the eyes; they probably need to be more puppy-dogish.
Overall, it's nice, but you didn't quite capture his "essence", if you know what I mean.
